Historical Society Library
The records that were accumulated throughout the years were first being held at the Hardin County Historical House. Then in the early 1990’s, a house that was located on the lot next to the Historical House was donated to the Society by the Dean Davison family in memory of Mrs. Davison's mother. This became known as the "Baker Library”. In 2009, a severe hail storm swept through Eldora and this house had to be destroyed due to the severe damage it incurred. The contents were boxed and stored until 2013, when the present site became available at 1236 Edgington Ave. This building is in the Eldora Historic District and is located across the street north of the courthouse.

“Through the Eyes of a Tiger”
A monumental task of creating this alumni book is an exclusive publication documenting many yeas of alumni history of the Eldora High School. High School is a time that is never forgotten.
The title was borrowed from the 2017/2018 yearbook.
The Book includes:
** History of the early schools, complete with photos and timeline
** Brief history and map of one room schools
** History of the "High School Yearbook"
** Photos of High School Administrators
** Photos of MOST all of the Senior students from the fall of 1885 through spring of 2020
Books can be purchased from the Society for $35.00 each, plus shipping and handling at the Historical Library.
